It seems so!

During an interview with The New York Times, Miley Cyrus was asked to share her opinion on Nicki Minaj’s recent Twitter debacle with Taylor Swift over the MTV Video Music Awards.

Miley responded by insinuating that Nicki is jealous of Taylor Swift and egotistical.

She said, “Not that this is jealousy, but jealousy does the opposite of what you want it to—that's a yoga mantra. People forget that the choices that they make and how they treat people in life affect you in a really big way. If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. But I don't respect your statement because of the anger that came with it.”

She added, "And it's not anger like, 'Guys, I'm frustrated about some things that are a bigger issue.' You made it about you. Not to sound like a bitch, but that's like, 'Eh, I didn't get my VMA'...If you want to make it about race, there's a way you could do that. But don't make it just about yourself. Say: 'This is the reason why I think it's important to be nominated. There's girls everywhere with this body type.’"

Nicki naturally caught wind of the interview and tweeted a special thanks to Complex magazine for defending her in regards to Miley’s recent statements.

It will be interesting to see how the brewing beef between Nicki and Miley evolves. After all, Nicki is opening the VMA’s while Miley is hosting. These two are bound to run into each other at some point.

Talk about awkward!

And another one! Drake has done it yet again. His mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” has officially gone platinum. This is of course a glorious occasion for any rap artist, but this is uniquely special for Drake because it’s said that this mixtape was just some scrap work to complete his contract with Cash Money Records due to the ongoing feud between Wayne and Birdman. Not to mention, Drake is the only rap artist that has gone platinum this year! Congrats, Drake. We are sure there are more platinum plaques to come.

Last night hip-hop heads and Meek Mill vs Drake beef followers got what they’ve all been waiting for. Meek Mill finally responded to the two diss tracks released by Drake by releasing “Wanna Know”, but… the listeners’ responses weren’t too pretty. Twitter went into a frenzy going as far to say that Meek Mill’s career was over and that he made a complete wrong move by making allegations about Drake having a ghost writer. Give it a listen yourself, then tell us what you think about it below: https://soundcloud.com/djfunkflexapp/meek-mill-feat-quentin-miller-wanna-know-prod-by-jahlil-beats-swizz-beatz

It seems as if the rumor mill never stops spinning when it comes to the disgrace of a relationship between 25 year old Tyga and 17 year old Kylie Jenner, but the rumors about the two getting married were quickly shot down when Kylie Jenner took to Twitter to say, "Not planning on getting married anytime soon:)." The rumor seemed to derive from an Instagram post where Kylie is wearing a diamond band on her left finger with the caption, “King Kylie,” which is very sketchy as Tyga calls himself “King Gold Chains.” It seems that this was just your routine Kardashian attention stunt. No wedding bells just yet.

Should we blame it on the alcohol?

Because Meek Mill recently went on an epic Twitter rampage where he dissed everyone from Nicki Minaj’s ex to Drake.

After accusing Nicki’s ex SB of being gay for twerking, Meek Mill then went on to claim that Drake does not write his own lyrics and did not write his verse when he collaborated with Meek on his song “R.I.C.O.”

"Stop comparing drake to me too....He don't write his own raps! That's why he ain't tweet my album [Dreams Worth More Than Money] because we found out!" Meek tweeted. “The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can't wait to [see] these guys and sit back and act like they don't know!"

He added, “Don't compare me to none of the cats that don't write they own raps either...... Lol," he scoffed. "Shall I continue about the rest of these dweebs in the game....... Lol."

So what did Drake have to say?

Well, nothing really.

His friend whose Twitter handle is @hitmanholla posted a screenshot of his DM with Drake about the Meek Mill tirade. Drake responded to the beef with this simple sentence “I signed up for greatness. This comes with it.”

Props to Drake for keeping it classy and we’re giving a  major side eye to Meek for going on such a ridiculous rant.

What sparked this rant? We may never know.

Let’s just hope that next time, Meek keeps his tweets to himself.
