Are Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj Beefing?

It seems so! 

During an interview with The New York Times, Miley Cyrus was asked to share her opinion on Nicki Minaj’s recent Twitter debacle with Taylor Swift over the MTV Video Music Awards. 

Miley responded by insinuating that Nicki is jealous of Taylor Swift and egotistical.

She said, “Not that this is jealousy, but jealousy does the opposite of what you want it to—that's a yoga mantra. People forget that the choices that they make and how they treat people in life affect you in a really big way. If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. But I don't respect your statement because of the anger that came with it.”

She added, "And it's not anger like, 'Guys, I'm frustrated about some things that are a bigger issue.' You made it about you. Not to sound like a bitch, but that's like, 'Eh, I didn't get my VMA'...If you want to make it about race, there's a way you could do that. But don't make it just about yourself. Say: 'This is the reason why I think it's important to be nominated. There's girls everywhere with this body type.’"

Nicki naturally caught wind of the interview and tweeted a special thanks to Complex magazine for defending her in regards to Miley’s recent statements. 

It will be interesting to see how the brewing beef between Nicki and Miley evolves. After all, Nicki is opening the VMA’s while Miley is hosting. These two are bound to run into each other at some point.

Draya Michele vs. Meghan James

It’s hard to keep up with the status of Draya Michele and her baller boyfriend Orlando’s relationship, but Draya just recently revealed that her and Orlando might be one the outs agin. 

In an Instagram photo that has since been deleted, but captured by the Shade Room, Draya posted a photo of her messy room after Orlando allegedly threw her stuff on the floor after a heated argument.  

Draya captioned the photo with a snarky comment in which she called Orlando a “cornball.”

As if that wasn't enough drama, Draya’s fellow “Basketball Wives LA” co-star and enemy Meghan James decided to chime in on the photo and accused Draya of using the photo as a publicity stunt.

Draya then clapped back and accused Meghan’s initiation of an Instagram beef with her was a publicity stunt in itself.

Oh when will these women learn to get along? It’s sad to see so many women on television constantly bickering over nonsense. Whatever happened to uplifting one another?

Meek Mill Finally Responds to Drake

Last night hip-hop heads and Meek Mill vs Drake beef followers got what they’ve all been waiting for. Meek Mill finally responded to the two diss tracks released by Drake by releasing “Wanna Know”, but… the listeners’ responses weren’t too pretty. Twitter went into a frenzy going as far to say that Meek Mill’s career was over and that he made a complete wrong move by making allegations about Drake having a ghost writer. Vic Mensa Disses Travi$ Scott?

In the midst of all the Meek Mill vs Drake beef, “U Mad” rapper, Vic Mensa released a freestyle titled, “Heir to the Throne.” Mensa goes in on Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya?” for five whole minutes. Many are saying that some of the things said in the freestyle sound a lot like shots at Travi$ Scott. There has been no comment from Vic or anyone in his camp about this, but the lyrics kind of say enough:

"Couple rap n---as you done thought that we was crew / Real life n---as was corny, what can I do? / Rich boy rappers get the notion that they tough / You a Cheddar Bob, you better shooting yourself." 

Not only does Vic say this in the freestyle, he uses Travi$ Scott’s famous “straight up!” ad-lib throughout the song. 

This potential beef would definitely be considered random, but if it is indeed beef, it shall get very interesting. 

“Drake Slaughters Meek Mill Again With “Back to Back”Diss”

So, we reported earlier about Meek Mill making allegations about Drake having a ghost writer and Drake “kind of responding,” but now, Drake is all about the business. He released his first response “Charged Up.” Now, on “Charged Up,” Drake spit very calm, had a few punchlines here and there, and got his point across. Everyone nodded their head and gave him a “touché, my brotha.” Then at 3AM Wednesday morning the game completely changed. Still with no response from Meek Mill after the release of “Charged Up,” Drake dropped ANOTHER ONE- “Back to Back.” Drake hit above the belt, below the belt, the chest, and everywhere else. A few great quotables:

“Yeah, trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers
Yeah, you gettin' bodied by a singin' nigga
I'm not the type of nigga that'll type to niggas”

Drizzy said this due to the fact that Meek Mill has done nothing but be a “Twitter thug” instead of actually coming back at Drake after making such bizarre allegations.

That line was tough, but there was a real kicker mention in the freestyle that Meek just may not recover from. I’m sure you are all aware that Meek Mill has been tagging along with his girlfriend Nicki Minaj on her Pink Print tour that she is headlining. Sure enough, Drake just had to go there:

“You love her, then you gotta give the world to her.

Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?

I know that you gotta be a thug for her.

This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more.”
