Who knew Instagram selfies were taken so seriously?

Well, if you’re Kim Kardashian with over 40 million followers, your Instagram photos hold a lot more weight than the average person.

Kim recently posted a selfie of herself posing next to a morning sickness medication named DICLEGIS.

In the clearly sponsored photo, Kim raved about the benefits of the drug alleviating her morning sickness, however Kim failed to mention the potentially serious side effects the drug is known to bring to pregnant women.

In addition to her 40 plus million Instagram followers, the FDA took notice of Kim’s post and ordered the DICLEGIS company and Kim Kardashian to take down the misleading photo.

The FDA’s letter to DICLEGIS and Kim Kardashian reads,“The Office of Prescription Drug Promotion … has reviewed the Kim Kardashian Social Media Post. The social media post is false or misleading in that it presents efficacy claims for DICLEGIS, but fails to communicate any risk information.”

Kim Kardashian’s Instagram post has since been deleted.

Some of the potential side effects of the drug include decreased mental alertness and it is suggested that the drug not be used on women who are sensitive to certain medications.

Kim Kardashian’s latest sponsored Instagram post marks yet another one of many that she’s published in the past.

A few months ago, Kim Kardashian garnered backlash for sponsoring waist trainers that are known to potentially damage one’s internal organs.

What are your thoughts on celebrities sponsoring products on Instagram? Should they be more mindful of what they sponsor or is it the consumer’s responsibility to check their facts?

Rumor reports have been circulating that Kim and Kanye are planning to name their son Easton. Sources claim that Kim and Kanye have totally ruled out naming their baby South because of its negative undertone and went with Easton instead.

But now new reports have surfaced that Kim and Kanye have no plans to name their son Easton and are still debating on a baby name.

Kim is only five months pregnant at this point, so she and Kanye have a bit more time before naming the baby.

Kardashian and West’s latest baby name rumor comes on the heels of reports of social media users questioning the authenticity of Kardashian’s pregnancy.

Fans and social media users began questioning Kim’s pregnancy after several paparazzi photos of Kim’s growing baby bump were released to the public.

In one shot of Kim during a day outing, her baby bump appears smaller than a night shot of Kim on the same day.

Naturally, the different baby bump sizes on the same exact day sparked a lot of chatter and questioning among social media users discussing the authenticity of Kim’s pregnancy.

Following the rumors and backlash, Kardashian took to Twitter to defend her pregnancy.

What do you think Kim and Kanye should name their baby boy? Sound off below!

It seems as if the rumor mill never stops spinning when it comes to the disgrace of a relationship between 25 year old Tyga and 17 year old Kylie Jenner, but the rumors about the two getting married were quickly shot down when Kylie Jenner took to Twitter to say, "Not planning on getting married anytime soon:)." The rumor seemed to derive from an Instagram post where Kylie is wearing a diamond band on her left finger with the caption, “King Kylie,” which is very sketchy as Tyga calls himself “King Gold Chains.” It seems that this was just your routine Kardashian attention stunt. No wedding bells just yet.
