Janet Jackson Writes Heartfelt Message to Aaliyah on the Anniversary of her Death

On Tuesday, Aug. 25, Janet Jackson took to Twitter to post a heartfelt letter she wrote to Aaliyah on the14th anniversary of her death.

R&B singer Aaliyah died in a plane crash at 22 on Aug. 25, 2001. 

And though Aaliyah died at a very young age, she managed to created a longstanding legacy in the music industry and among her fans as displayed by the many  #ripAaliyah posts on Twitter and other social media platforms.

In the letter, Jackson expressed her love for Aaliyah and revealed that they both shared a “scared” and “everlasting” bond.

Sources say that Aaliyah had plans to work with Jackson on a musical collaboration prior to her death and often cited Jackson as one her biggest musical influences. Before her death Janet and Aaliyah also developed a budding friendship.

The mixtape is said to be titled “Fuk What They Talkin’ Bout.” and the release date is said to be August 24th.

Miley Cyrus Goes At Taylor Swift “Bad Blood” Video

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Miley Cyrus took shots at taylor Swift when she said that she didn’t understand the “violence revenge” theme of the video.The comment derived from Miley being questioned on why nudity seems to be shamed more than violence in music videos. Miley said, “I don’t get the violence revenge thing,” when speaking on Taylor’s “Bad Blood” music video. “That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”

Fans React to Lenny Kravitz’s #PenisGate Scandal

Lenny Kravitz recently performed at a concert in Sweden and while jamming to his hit song “Fly Away,” Lenny’s penis flew out of his pants.

As Lenny squatted in front of the crowd while passionately playing his guitar, his leather pants split open to reveal his penis donned with a crotch piercing. 

Immediately following the incident, Lenny quickly stood back up and covered his crotch area with his guitar, but it was a little to late.


Fans had already taken photos and created memes about Lenny’s #Penisgate incident and the rocker/actor quickly became a trending topic on social media.

Despite this embarrassing moment, Lenny has successfully played it off and went on Twitter to make fun of himself. He tweeted a text conversation between himself and Steven Tyler discussing what is now being called the #penisgate scandal.
