Just days after Jay-Z took to Twitter to defend his new music streaming app, Tidal, he announced that he will be holding a special concert titled “B-Sides” exclusively for Tidal subscribers. A very clever move on Hov’s part as rumors have been swirling declaring the music streaming app as a flop. The concert will include mostly songs that he has never performed live or hits that haven’t been performed live in decades, per request of the fans. Tidal subscribers must build their desired playlist on the Tidal app, then share it on Twitter with the hashtag “#TIDALXJAYZ.” The submission period ends on Friday, May 8th, and the concert is set to take place on May 13th. The complete set of rules for submissions can be found here: http://tidal.com/us/tidalxjayz.
The subscriber of the winning playlist will receive tickets to the B-Sides concert. The concert will be held in New York, but the exact location has not yet been revealed.
