Within my thesis, I have collected data and theories both fiction and non- fiction to help create the ideology that humans are indeed attached to the yin yang balance as well as the elements. zodiac signs and more.There are five major concepts that will support my theory: Avatar physiology & Spiritual Messages. the different types of Twin Flames. YIN YANG Theory. Zodiacs and Elements ideology and Zodiac Elements power & the Avatar(s) connection.
Avatar philosophy & Spiritual Messages.
According to Sandiegoreader, The cartoon centers on the Avatar, the reincarnation of the spirit of Earth. The Avatar’s role is to bring balance to world. He/she is the bridge to the spirit world and possesses the ability to bend all four elements: air, water, earth and fire.

A bender is a person who can manipulate their respective element. In the series, there are four nations that coincide with the four elements. The fire nation has firebenders, the earth nation has earthbenders, etc. But not all residents of each nation can bend; and only the Avatar can master all four elements.
Avatar hooked me for several reasons. The first is its storytelling. The show builds on an overall arc for three seasons. By the final episode, we are left wanting more, but are also satisfied. There’s nothing more satisfying than feeling satisfied.
Another reason the show hooked me was for the martial arts. Each nation has a style of martial arts that blends with bending and spirituality to yield fantastical visual results. For example, the air nomads use Ba Gua, a style known for circular movements and defense. Since the air nomads are typically monks, their style is attributed to freedom and detachment from worldly affairs.
The bending and martial arts are fantastic because watching the choreography is like watching a Jet Li action movie in cartoon form, except a lot of the characters can bend the elements.
But the martial arts is not the main reason why I claim this show as an all-time favorite. It is spirituality.
The Avatar universe is based on eastern ideology and religion. Although the name Buddha, Krsna or Ganesh is never mentioned in the show, the culture is inspired by the teachings of eastern philosophy. It does not pick one sect of eastern philosophy and cling to it. Rather, the show is a combination of all of them with slight to moderate variation.
Types of Twin Flames - the avatars of elements.
One concept that I have become extremely familiar with is Twin Flames. Sometimes discussed in terms of a “mirror soul” or “soul connection”, a twin flame is the other half of your soul. While twin flames are mirror souls everyIt is theorized that a soul can split into two after ascending to a high frequency. Thereafter, the soul lands in two different bodies.
EVERYONE IS NOT A TWIN FLAME, TWIN FLAMES ARE RARE, THEY ARE AVATARS OF THE ELEMENTS.
The Sun and The Moon Are the Twin Flames of the Earth.
The Sun synonyms include: light, yang, logic .
The Mon synonyms include: dark, yin, spiritual.
This is why we are up during the day and we conduct logical activities, and also why we sleep at night and travel in spirit as we dream.
Common myths about Twin Flames that are NOT true:
For starters everyone does NOT have a Twin Flame in every lifetime.
twin flames are not necessarily romantic, Twin Flames are the perfect blacance of one another yin yang.
Just because you have a twin flame does not mean you will be in a romantic unio, that depends on the agreement before coming into a lifetime. Sometimes your twin flame is meant to teach you something and go
If you and your twin flame are not in union you do not have to hate one another, in fact hating one another is counter productive to the purpose of twin flames, twin flames are sent here to shift the frequency of humanity.
There tends to be a lot of confusion about what a “twin flame” relationship really is. Unlike “soul mates,” which are our perfect matches (or our spiritual family) twin flames are our mirrors. Relationships w twin flames tend to be on-again-off-again, passionate, and intensely painful. Some people are meant to be with there #TwinFlame some people ARE NOT meant to be with theres . Also note everyone does not have a twin flame in every lifetime.
The “runner” “chaser” stage is also not really a thing .... allow me to explain. If you are chasing someone , you are running from yourself which is ultimately making you the runner and not the chaser. So ( if this is where you are ) put your energy in your purpose not your twin. A twin that is being “chased” may turn into a narcissist and flip the game on you .... so be careful .
if you have a twin flames in this lifetime you are walking a very thin line of narcissism. It goes on of two ways ... you either bath in humility and become a healer or you Bath in ego Narcissist. That choice is one for every individual.
Yin Yang Theory.
According to ancient.eu The principle of Yin and Yang is that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites, for example, female-male, dark-light and old-young. The principle, dating from the 3rd century BCE or even earlier, is a fundamental concept in Chinese philosophy and culture in general. The two opposites of Yin and Yang attract and complement each other and, as their symbol illustrates, each side has at its core an element of the other (represented by the small dots). Neither pole is superior to the other and, as an increase in one brings a corresponding decrease in the other, a correct balance between the two poles must be reached in order to achieve harmony.

The concept of Yin and Yang became popular with the work of the Chinese school of Yinyang which studied philosophy and cosmology in the 3rd century BCE. The principal proponent of the theory was the cosmologist Zou Yan (or Tsou Yen) who believed that life went through five phases (wuxing) - fire, water, metal, wood, earth - which continuously interchanged according to the principle of Yin and Yang.

and provides form to all things.
Yang reaches it’s height of influence with the summer solstice. Yang may also be represented by the dragon, the colour blue and a solid line trigram.
According to Energy feng-shui.lovetoknow.com . The interplay of yin and yang energy is the founding principle of the art of feng shui. Yin energy is dark and feminine. It represents cold, introspective, passive and even subconscious energy. On the other hand, yang energy is the perfect complement to yin. It's bright and masculine, warm and extroverted.
Two Opposites Create One Whole
Together, these two distinct energies balance the universe and bring harmony. They are necessary in equal amounts to help all living things prosper and grow. When there is a disruption in the balance, the flow of energy, also known as chi, stagnates. This can lead to unfavorable living conditions that can affect various areas of your life, depending upon where that stagnation occurs.
Understanding the Symbol
A single symbol beautifully encapsulates the principle of of yin and yang, sometimes referred to as ying and yang. The yin yang is a circle perfectly divided between these complimentary energies. Each half of the symbol contains a drop of the opposite half's energy to show that the two are inseparable
Examples of Yin Yang Sun.
The sun provides a great deal of natural inspiration for an artistic rendering of the yin yang. The sun's heat, light and boldly positive energy offer a perfect way to express the concept of yang energy, and this is incorporated into yin yang designs in different ways.
Sun and Moon.
A creative sun and moon yin yang symbol is very common and easy to find. This design places the sun in the yang half of the symbol and the moon in the yin half. The sun contains a small moon and, likewise, the moon half contains a miniature sun.
Zodiac Elements power & the Avatar(s) connection.
While we are all extremely powerful beings and able to attract diverse powers through the elements we are attached too with our zodiac signs. Twin Flames, being rare balances of the earth are able to tap into ALL of the elements once they meet their flame and unlock their indigo. This is why I relate this theory to Avatar, the last air bender.
All humans belong to an element tribe with their zodiac sign , however twin flames have the rare ability to tap into all element powers.
There are four elements: fire, earth, air, and water, making what is called a triplicity of three signs per each element.
The Water Signs of the Zodiac: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
The fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
Air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini),
earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo)
Avatars = TWIN FLAMES the can access all the elements power.
In ancient astrology, triplicities were more of a seasonal nature, so a season was given the qualities of an element, which means the signs associated with that season would be allocated to that element.

Water Tribes - Water Bending
Water is the element of change
Waterbending is the hydrokinetic ability to control water in all of its various forms. Except from the original waterbending there is also the bloodbending(human is 70% water) and the healing. The original waterbenders learned to bend by observing how the moon pushed and pulled the tides.
The Water Tribes are the only people who did not learn how to bend from the animals, but from the moon and the ocean spirits who took the form of those fish .
Waterbenders use the flow of the energy; they let their defense become their offense.
Waterbending emphasizes symbiosis: acting in concert with one's environment and guiding it, rather than avoiding, controlling or working against it.
Earth Kingdom - Earth Bending
Earth is the element of substance.
Earthbending is the geokinetic ability to manipulate the earth and rock in all their various forms, such as sand, lava and metal. Earth is the element of substance, while the people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse, strong and enduring. The key to earthbending involves waiting and listening for the right moment to strike and, when the time comes, acting desicively. In other words, earthbenders endure their enemy's attacks until the right opportunity to counterattack reveals itself (which I believe describes the two members I added here perfectly).
When the time comes to strike they must attack without hesitation and uncertainty.
Fire Nation - Fire Bending
Fire is the element of power.
Firebending is the pyrokinetic ability to control fire, which is really unique because the bender produces it. Firebending concludes combustion bending and lightning generation/redirection. Fire is the element of power, consisting of overpowering force tempered by the unflinching will to accomplish tasks and desires. It's a bending style that is not based on defence but on the attacks. Firebending distinctiveness is in its uncontrolled nature; fire, if it is left to itself, it will consume everything. Firebending is thus a matter of controlling the element rather than directing it. If it is controlled properly, fire is life and industry, comforting and creative.
I think that those two belong here for this one word: DESIRE
Air Nomads - Air Bending
Air is the element of freedom.
Airbending is the aerokinetic ability to control and manipulate air. An airbender can also fly and have spiritual projections. The key to airbending is flexibility and finding and following the path of least resistance. Airbending is notable for being almost purely defensive. Air Nomads espouse a philosophy of conflict, avoidance and respects for all forms of life; an airbender will never seek a fight. Airbenders emphasize intuition and imagination; to an airbender there always is another path they can take.
