FEAR Is the Root Of All Evil
By Charron Monaye
What do you need to change? Are you the reason why your child is struggling, or are you stuck praying for your breakthrough? Can I share a secret with you? The ticket to your breakthrough is removing all of the stuff that you “think” will happen if you move outside of comfortability. Transitioning from what you know to the unknown is already a scary event, but not for a child or person who is committed to having fun. Are you ready to experience unapologetic fun, fearless living, and unshakable faith? Can you live not knowing where your next meal is going to come from, but knowing that God is able? Are you willing to erase what you thought you knew to be true?
When I turned that composition book into a published book, I didn’t know what was going to come from it, but I knew the projected life I was living wasn’t taking me anywhere fast. Matter fact, I was no different than the people who projected their concepts on me. We were all broke—robbing Peter to pay Paul, gossiping, praying for better, and complaining about our jobs. Is it me, or does it seem like everyone who projected their fears onto you isn’t doing that much better than you? I mean, it’s like they try to diminish your life so they can have company in theirs. Have you noticed that? Or is this new to you? Take a minute and think about everyone who has projected onto you. Where are they at now in their life? Interesting, right?
So how do we stop projecting and allowing projecting in our lives? We have touched on how fear starts, but how do we stop it? The answers are simple:
Don’t be afraid to step outside of the “traditional” comfort zone. It’s a better view from the side of freedom.
Understand that everyone has a life. Live yours so that you don’t have to live vicariously through them.
Be aware that people project their failures onto you to prevent you from “achieving” what will never happen.
Everyone has an opinion of what will work in life; only trust what you know to be true.
Use what you need from the lessons you learned to propel you forward, and trust your instincts.
I can go on and on, but to propel past projection, you must believe in you. Trust in yourself enough to know that you hold the key to your desires and most importantly your destiny. Also, examine the negative relationships in your life. Negativity is projected, and therefore, you must eradicate it from your life. Family, friends, co-workers, or social media friends—anyone who is negative must go. The less negativity you hear and the more you exercise having a winning attitude, the less you will fear and the more success you will experience.
